John Allsup

Born 1947

Ex-lots of things, currently wandering around North Yorkshire in a mobile library. And occasional drawer.

Was asked by Mark to contribute a lot of drawings to illustrate his book The Complete Lone Pine (O'Hanlon 1996).
Following this, illustrated The Silent Hills of Shropshire (O'Hanlon 1998), the book that Malcolm Saville was planning when he died, and Mark completed; and the second edition of Portrait of Rye (O'Hanlon 1999).

Also provided a map for his biography of Saville: Beyond the Lone Pine (O'Hanlon 2001).

Has been in the Society from Shrewsbury so many long years ago and has contributed both maps and sketches to the annual gathering booklets and occasional pieces to the Society newsletter/magazine.
